Welcome to the "Naming Grace in the Domestic Church"
by Mary Pedersen
This website provides reflections and tools for helping parents and grandparents to name grace—proclaim God’s wonderful works—in their own domestic churches.
Blessings as you name grace in your own domestic church. Papa, mama, do preach!

OUR MiSSION
Our mission is helping parents with their mission of raising their children in the faith. There is no task more important. Pope Francis posed these thought-provoking questions about living out our mission: “What is the inheritance I will leave with my life? Will I leave the inheritance of a man, a woman of faith? Will I leave this inheritance to my children?”[1] Later, he challenges all parents: “The best thing we can pass down in life is our faith, faith in the true God, the God who is with us always, God who is our Father never disappoints.”
This website, Naming Grace in the Domestic Church, aids parents as "first preachers" and "primary catechists" in their mission of passing on the faith to their children in the domestic church, the "church of the home." When given the proper tools, parents who take seriously their role as leaders of their own domestic churches, will leave a legacy of faith by proclaiming God's wonderful works!
Nothing could be more worthy of our lives than drawing our children into the life of faith and forming them into disciples of Christ. When our children know they are God's beloved, they will live life on a higher plain--fully and abundantly--and take up their mission of making Christ known to the world!
Papa, mama, do preach and leave a legacy of faith--of grace!

I speak nationally on topics of faith, family, friendship, parenting, preaching, and Naming Grace in the Domestic Church. I offer workshops, parish missions, and keynote presentations. I've been described as energetic, enthusiastic, and sincere. I've been known, on probably far too many occasions, to shout out a woo-hoo!
